Sunsets over Tacoma's Commencement Bay can be spectacular and this evening was no exception. A warm fall afternoon was giving way to a rain storm pushing the bright whimsical clouds out and bringing in the heavy wet purple ones to replace them. In my perch along Eastside Drive between Browns and Dash Points I basked it the beauty, took several pictures for reference, then dashed inside as the heavy rain set in.
This painting was done of the view overlooking of Tacoma, Ruston, Point Defiance and Vashon Island.
